Yoga means ‘Union’ …. for me this Union is not about transcending Nature, but Loving Nature……
Loving it so much, SO MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH!
that tears flow freely, sliding so gratefully
into a river of poignant joy and radiant decaying autumn leaves….
Autumn is the time for feeling deeply and without shyness into this endless letting go.
From the first breath,
through the thousands of zig zag foot steps, words, half-formed thoughts,
big moments, small moments, kisses, touches and dreams, all of it,
ALL OF IT
….to the last whisper, the last breath…the recognition of Bones.
we ARE Nature…..we ARE Consciousness…..we ARE Spirit…..
cosmic, space, light, sound, shadow, soil, water, elements, burning, transforming, brewing, changing, evolving, moving, dying, awakening, rhythm, stillness, beyond time, eternal,
nothing at all……
we talk about ‘True Nature’ sometimes as if it were something Other than our beautiful bodily beings, made of earth and bones and fluids and sparks and life force…
but this is because of the Paradox that we are…and we get caught in a confusion of separation and relativity, us and them, better and worse, domination….subjugation…..holier than thou…..
Ultimately the flurry and swirl of Autumn leaves that is this life, this cell, this collection of heart beats, this planet, this Universe, this ripple……..
will be gone
absorbed back into the unchanging timeless Ocean of Nothing
